This training activity aims to present a comprehensive approach that aims to help organizations meet these profit challenges. The responsible innovation approach is based on a strategic combination of three core disciplines: innovation management, circular economy and sustainable development, through the application of agile methodologies and international standards.

José Carlos Pereira de Morais PhD in Sociology from FLUP, University of Porto, Portugal, since 2010. Professor at ISPGAYA, Portugal, since 2012, directs Psychology, education and culture magazine. A researcher in CEOS.PP, since 2014 he assumed the presidency of the Technical-Scientific Council of ISPGAYA, combining activities in the management of institutional bodies with teaching that began in 1997, he completed a master’s course in Sociology, also from FLUP. Between 2012 and 2020 he was an associate professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal.

José Duarte Santos PhD in Management. Between the years 1987 and 2002 he played various roles in sales, marketing and management of companies in the information technology sector. From 2003 to 2018, he served as a management and business consultant. Since 1999, he has been a professor in higher education in Portugal in the field of management and marketing at ISPGaya-Institute Superior Politécnico Gaya. He is also a researcher at CEOS.PP-Centum of Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal.

Rick Fernandez is the President of 20-20 Innovation, Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of Innovation and Operations, leading the Innovation efforts of multiple industries from Manufacturing, to Service and Government. Rick currently serves as Vice-President for the US TAG for TC-279 Innovation Management Systems developing the new Innovation Management System Standard ISO 56000. He is an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality and Business Excellence Award and a Senior Examiner for Florida’s Sterling Performance Excellence Award.

How To Create Diverse Innovation

Ferdinand Luís Almeida has a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering and an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Porto. He has worked in several public and private organizations for 15 years as a researcher, engineer, project manager and business manager. He is a founding member of the International Association of Innovation Professionals (IAOIP) and co-founder of the Responsible Innovation Framework (RIF). He has more than 180 scientific publications in innovation management, entrepreneurship, and information systems.

João Monteiro is a professional associate of ISPGAYA. He is also an invited professor at the University of Lodz and at the IPVC (Lusitania). He holds a PhD in Management (IUL-ISCTE in Lisbon), an MSc in Finance (UCP-CRP in Porto), and a BSc in Economics (at FEP in Porto). In addition to teaching, he heads the International Office at ISPGAYA and is also the CFO at CEP (a private corporation).

Eduardo Espinheira is a Management Consultant, Facilitator, Manager and Public Speaker. It will lead individuals and teams to excellence through people engagement, change management and adoption of best practices. He is the author of MngtBugs & MngtFixes, the Human Management Newsletter, and the Machiavellian PM feature. He studied Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Marketing at the Católica Porto Business School (CPBS) and Entrepreneurship at the Porto Business School (PBS). He was a professor at the IPP School of Technology and Management and is now a professor at the Porto Business School.

Pedro Carneiro is co-founder, director and CISO of WeMake – Information Technology since 2002, where he holds the role of Software Project Manager. He is the director of WeSecure-Cybersecurity and Forensic Analysis, a company of computer forensics experts in the field of secure software development.
