Online Course Internships – The National Program for Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a project of the Ministry of Education created to provide quality education to anyone interested in learning from IITs. Every January and July, 250-300 courses are offered online, free of charge, for anyone to sign up and learn.
Certification involves writing a proctored exam and conducted in 120 cities across India. 740 online certification courses have been completed to date with 270 courses currently open for online course enrollment.
Online Course Internships
From the summer of 2018 onwards, NPTEL has begun offering internships to NOC exam top performers with the respective course instructors.
Free And Customizable Internship Templates
NPTEL will try to arrange your accommodation in one of the hostels within the institute premises. In case of non-availability, the candidate must arrange their own accommodation.
Each semester, after the results of the NPTEL online certification courses are released, we contact the first of the selected courses regarding the internship. You will be given instructions on how to apply at this time.
Candidates who achieve the best results in Nptel’s online certification courses may be eligible for an internship offer. The final decision is made by the course instructor.
On the first day of the internship, you must report to your local NPTEL office, complete the registration form, and then meet with the instructor for the course in question.
Everything Students Need To Know About Virtual Internships
During your internship, you are expected to report to your local NPTEL office and course instructor as directed by him.
The duration of the internship can be 2, 3 or 4 weeks. The practices will be carried out in the facilities of the institute of the corresponding faculty.
The stipend depends on the duration of the internship. 2 weeks – Rs. 2500, 4 weeks – Rs. 5000, 6 weeks – Rs. 7500, 8 weeks – Rs. 10,000 Stipend will be paid only to those who successfully complete the internship. The stipend will be deposited into the bank’s A/C number provided by the intern.
We will organize accommodation and logistics at the hostel, depending on availability. The travel arrangement has to be done by you.
